Wild Past Weeks…

I have not posted anything for some time as we have been extremely busy trying to keep up on life.

Here are some highlights as to what we have been busy doing:

• Transplanted the strawberries to the front flower bed
• Weeded the flower beds
• Transplanted my purple salvia to a new spot
• Got the lawns mowed
• Went to our neighbors funeral (I miss him so much)
• Made a new dress
• Made Mom’s Mother’s Day gift
• Helped Kelly bottle chicken
• Sold the Lexus
• Sold the funnel cake business
• Listed (and have a potential buyer for) the concession trailer
• Bought tires for the truck

It has been busy and I am starting another big week trying to help Kelly get ready to move.  Hope all goes well and we get everything done that needs taken care of.  Moving is the pits!!!

Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree….

 

My little apricot tree that we planted last spring is full of blossoms.  What a beautiful sight it is.  Tons of bees have found the sweet fragrance of the blossoms and are doing their job of pollinating the flowers.

To bad I won’t be able to reap the wonderful fruits that will adorn the branches of this adorable tree.
