New Name…New Website
ANNOUNCING!!!
Something Old, Something New has changed its name and has a website.
Our new name is: Upcycled Garden and
this is our new website address: http://www.upcycledgarden.com
We are also on Facebook and can be found at: https://www.facebook.com/UpcycledGardenAz
We have moved from Utah to Florence, AZ and are loving the warm winter here. This winter was different as we never had to wear coats and only turned on the furnace for three weeks in January.
We have a new website that I am excited to announce. Our youngest daughter, Brook and us have started Upcycled Garden and are having the best adventure ever. We still refurbish (Upcycle) furniture but have added “Ever-Blooming” flowers band saw jewelry boxes.
These whimsical and fun flowers are created from unwanted and unloved glassware. Each flower is a work of art that can be displayed indoors on a easel or outdoor on a copper pole (which is included on all outdoor flowers).
Hand cut by our craft masters, these jewel boxes are uniquely designed and no two are alike. Featuring hand flocked drawer lining and high gloss finishes these make wonderful additions to any jewelry collection.
Bringing new life to old outdated desks and dressers, our craft masters take the time to repair each item to perfect working order as well as giving it a new look. These desks and dressers are a wonderful addition to any home.
Please visit our new website and take a “look-see” of some the products we have in stock. You can also visit our new blog by clicking on the “blog icon” on our home page. We are excited to have you visit and hope you will return to see the new items.

Ariane Dunlavy
My beautiful niece, Ariane Dunlavy was welcomed into the arms of our loving Heavenly Father this afternoon. She had been battling cancer for the past few months and now she is free from the pain of this horrid disease. She leaves behind her mother, Connie, her father Will, her brothers Paul and Sean.
Ariane was a soft spoken girl and never spoke harsh words of others. She was well educated and loved to travel. Her mother was her favorite traveling companion. Ariane was a friend to all and loved to be in the service of her fellowmen.
Ariane, we will miss you and your sweet countenance. Your laughter will ring in the homes you visited and brighten the lives you came in contact with. I will love you forever and always. God be with us left behind until we meet you again.
Love you sweet beautiful girl!!!!

Happy Birthday Richard…
Twenty three years ago on February 6th a beautiful baby boy left heaven and came to be part of our family. What a joyful day that was. This baby boy took me from motherhood to grandmotherhood and every day since his birth has been a joy.
Richard you are an extremely special man and I love you dearly. I wish for you this year that all your goals will be met and that all the decisions you make will lead you to greater accomplishment. Let the Lord take your hand and the both of you walk in paths of righteousness.
Hope you had a wonderful birthday and that you got just what you wanted. Fly to the highest levels my Big Boy.

Thrifty Find….
Last night we stopped into Saver’s to see what they might have. We walked over to the furniture department and spotted 3 Windsor chairs for $6.99 each. This was a great find and we were excited. Just then an announcement came over the intercom that all furniture was 50% off. Wow!!! that made my chairs $3.50 each. This was making me giddy.
The plan for these chairs will be a bench similar to this:
I went to the children’s clothing to see what they had. Dick came over and wanted me to come look at a headboard he had found. When I seen it, my heart started pitter patting as it was what I had been looking for. There was not a price on it so we found one of the workers and asked him what it was priced at. He said the footboard was in the back and the set was priced at $10. Then there was 50% off that. $5.00 for the both. Now I am head over heels with giddiness.
The bed is a double and perfect for the spot I have in the bedroom. This is basically what it will end up looking like:
I am one very happy camper at this point. I can hardly wait to get these projects started.
