Twirly Skirts

This is my new creation for my Quilted Bear booth. The twirly skirts are the rage here with the younger little girls. This picture is of a size 2 top and skirt. I am making them sizes 1-4 and special orders for smaller and larger sizes. It is made with three coordinating fabrics then one of the fabrics is used to applique a design on the top to tie in the two pieces of the outfit. The applique was made with my cricut machine. I do love that cricut and it was a fantastic investment.

They are ever so cute.

Happy Birthday sweet little Brea. You have really brought lots of happiness to our family and we are so glad that you chose our family to be part of.

Christmas

I have a new computer and have not downloaded the pictures from my camera to it yet so there will not be any pictures for a while.
We had a wonderful Christmas this year and lots of neat gifts graced our home. Each one is greatly appreciated and our deepest thanks goes out to all of you. Formal thank you's will be coming in the mail shortly.
Yesterday and Monday was the painting day for the living room. Derek and Kelly came and shooed us out the door with the little ones and then painted. We were called about 1:00 yesterday and told that we could come home. The colors are gorgeous and I do love the living room rearranged.
It makes me want to paint all the other rooms now. The colors are so vibrant and beautiful making the other walls look dingy gray (I hate, hate the gray).
I hope that all had a wonderful Christmas and that Santa was good to all of you.

Kameron is 13...

Happy Birthday, Kameron. Hope that you have a wonderful day on the 13th anniversary of your birth. I remember how very excited that we were when we got the call saying that you were finally here. You have been such a joy to our family and we love you very much.

Record Cape Month

I hit a record sales for the month of November with 99 capes selling at our events and Quilted Bear.

That is tons of sewing!!!
