The Princess' Day

Today was Princess Day so we picked up Evan and she got to do whatever she wanted after we got our shopping done in Ogden.  First we had to buy a new back door at Home Depot before her day really began.  When we got home she was able to watch cartoons on the living room television (Grandpa's rule #1 is no cartoons on the living room television), then she moved to the bedroom and watched Wizard of Oz with Grandma (Granny fell asleep part way through, really not even to the color part) and then she helped pick grapes off the stems so we could make raisins (yummy!!).
We had loaded nachos for dinner, but she only wanted the nachos and the olives.  After dinner she made yummy cookies-----olive chocolate chip!!!
Gramps would not try them, but she said they were good.  Thank heavens she only made four of them.
When the cookies came out of the oven she had her friends come for warm cookies and Mallory was able to stay and play with her until 9:00 then we walked Mallory home.
Bedtime was our next stop for the day and of course it was on the couch bed.  She sure is a tiny little girl on such a big bed, but that is where her favorite place to sleep is.
Good night sweet Princess.  Tomorrow will be another fun day with all that you have planned to do.
