My handsome white haired Daddy passed away on October 2, 2013 at 6:09 pm surrounded by his loving family. I was privileged to have been with with him for the last two and a half weeks of his life. As he took his last breath, I was standing at the head of the bed rubbing his white silky hair.
His funeral was held on October 11th at the Monticello Utah Stake Center and then burial was held at the Monticello (Blue Mountain) Cemetery. The funeral was very large and many came to pay their last respects to a man that was their friend, brother, grandpa, father and husband.
Dad was a much loved man amongst his family, friends and community. His name was well known throughout his beloved San Juan County.
We miss him terribly but know that he is in a much better place and he is preparing the path for us to join him. Our love for Dad is strong and his influences can be seen daily in the actions of his family.
