Today our sweet Meghan is 17. It is hard to believe that she is that old, as I remember the day she was born and how very excited we were to finally have this precious little baby girl come to our family. She was so tiny and cuddly and she loved to have me rock her for hours. When she was a newborn, Richie and I would fill a laundry basket full of blankets and put Meghan in it to sleep. One day I found him pushing the basket on the floor and Meghan was so content and still sleeping soundly. After that I had to be real careful where I left the basket with the baby as Richie wanted to play with her and push her all over the house.Meghan has been such a delight in our lives and has the most beautiful big brown eyes. I like to call them "doe eyes" as they are as sparkling and big as a deer's eyes. She has a smile that will melt your heart and of course she has her grandparents wrapped around her little pinkie. She is a person that you want to be around as she just knows how to make you laugh. There is never a dull moment when Meggie is there.
We are so proud of you Meghan. Thanks for being a shining diamond in our treasure chest of life. You are truly a blessing from Heavenly Father. Thanks for helping us this summer and coming to spend some time with us. You are a jewel.
